Prof. Mythili Ramchand is an Adjunct Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bengaluru. She previously served as Co-Chairperson of the Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education (CETE), School of Education, TISS Mumbai, where she also led the inclusive education research group.

Before joining TISS, Prof. Ramchand served as Director of the RV Educational Consortium, Bengaluru, from 2005 to 2018.

Prof. Ramchand has led numerous research studies, employing methodologies such as Participatory Action Research and case study approaches. Her contributions include collaborative projects, international research, and publications in books and journal articles.

Prof. Ramchand's expertise spans teacher professional development, participatory action research, and inclusive education approaches for disadvantaged learners. Her work challenges systems to move from 'accommodating differences' to centre the voices and agency of those historically excluded.
